What is Syntonics?

Syntonic Phototherapy – also known as Syntonics or Light Therapy – uses visible light frequencies perceived through the eyes to increase visual attention and comprehension. The goal of this is to treat conditions of the eyes through the balancing of the autonomic nervous system. The autonomic nervous system controls our perceptual visual field, and the balancing of this system helps to foster proper communication between other major brain centers such as the pineal gland and the hypothalamus.

Syntonics and Vision

A reduced visual field is a common symptom associated with pediatric learning disabilities and adulthood visual stresses. A reduced visual field affects all areas of life from academic achievement to work performance. With a condition that has the potential to impact so many areas of life it is important to address it promptly.

Syntonics is effective in treating a variety of visual conditions.

These include but are not limited to:

  • Eye Strain/Fatigue
  • Strabismus
  • Amblyopia
  • Double Vision
  • Light Sensitivity
  • Reduced Peripheral Vision
